About Me

I am technical trader. I usually make trading decision based on Price-Volume bars movements. I don’t look at the thousands indicators before taking a trade.

When I started trading, I was using many different indicators. None made me a profit for long time. Each indicator used to work in specific market condition and when market changed that indicator didn’t work properly. Then I became real frustrated and started learning the price bars and the volume relationship. I read many books and articles on price bars interpretation. In stock market, two things are most important, volume and its affect on price, all others are worthless information.

My belief:
·       All markets are manipulated and regular trader/investors are the scapegoat here.
·       To long term survival in this market, one has to follow big funds.
·       Never act un-on usual bullshit financial news on TV.
·       Never trade when TV is on.
·       Before you trade, finalize have stop and cover price (in professional terms: Trading Plan).
·       Never invest all your money in one-two stocks.
·       Every growth story has ending. You need to get out before its too late.
·       Every stock comes back to buying level you don’t have to chase the stock.
·       All markets (Equities, Commodities, Currencies…) follow the patterns and if you can analyze the one market, you certainly can analyze other markets as well.

How I trade:

  • I only trade at support and resistance; with specific price and volume action.  I look at the long term charts for my analysis. Compare current Price-Volume actions with historical movements (I go back many years to verify the data).
  • No volume action, no trade. Price is the only end results of Volume.
  • Stock has to have enough dollar volume that I can get in and get out.
  • Don’t trade very volatile stocks.
  • Consolidation breakout with heavy volume.

Which Markets I trade in:
  • I trade Equities only in Indian and US market.  Seriously thinking about getting into ETFs and Commodities.
